Best Amazon Full Coverage High Waisted Bikinis under $30
Y’all I have ordered and tried on close to a dozen different high waisted bikinis and found three that I would recommend. I love the new trend of high waisted bikinis, it’s a “mom-bod’s” dream come true!! But I will say that the style these days tends to be high cut in the back…and frankly, ain’t nobody need to see that (at least they don’t need to see my booty!). It is quite daunting to find a bathing suit that provides full coverage and is high waisted–but these don’t disappoint and the price point cannot be beat! First. This is my most favorite find on Amazon. It is the best…

Edisto Island, South Carolina Family Vacation 2020
We just got back from our family beach vacation to Edisto Beach, South Carolina. We had a fun filled trip to our happy place and given the pandemic, I am super happy we were able to make our annual trip happen! And please let it be known that I am totally procrastinating unpacking and starting laundry in writing this post 🙂 Drew’s family had a house on the beach for over 50 years, last year their family sold the house and thankfully we wanted to keep the tradition alive despite being in a different house. We rented a house called “Doc House” that is right next to the marina and…

Weekend Recap: Visiting Friends in Sullivans Island, South Carolina
We just got back from a weekend away visiting friends and family. It has been so nice traveling again and I feel super comfortable as we are basically just quarantining in different locations. This past weekend we visited one of my best friends and Drew’s sister. It was a quick trip but was wonderful being back in the city we love. On Friday night, we stayed with Drew’s sister in Park Circle (a super cute and growing town just north of Charleston). She welcomed us with a wonderful home cooked meal and kept the kids very entertained. The boys shared a room and a bed for the first time–lets just…

First Vacation after Coronavirus: Long Weekend in Destin and Crab Island
We just came back from an incredible long weekend with some of our closest friends. Â We originally planned to visit Drew’s best friend and his family, who welcomed a new baby girl in January, in March. Â However, with the coronavirus in full swing we decided to postpone until May. Â While I was super hesitant given that restrictions had just been loosened, I am very happy that we decided to go. Â I did not realize how much our entire family was craving some normalcy and socialization with close friends. Many of our friends in Atlanta travel to 30A for family vacations. Â We always go to South Carolina beaches, and never experienced the…

Edisto Beach Family Vacation 2019
Wow, this summer FLEW by! We scheduled our big family vacation for the last week of July (right before school starts in Atlanta). Â We had an absolute blast in Edisto and cannot wait to return next summer. It was the first year we did not stay in Drew’s family’s beach house, which sold this summer. Though it is super sad, we made the best of it and embraced a new tradition and new location (same island just different house!).My mother in law found a perfect rental house right on the river with its’ own dock and boat ramp, per Drew’s request. Â It was a change from being beach front, but such…

Vacation Recap: Fourth of July at Edisto Island, South Carolina
We just got back from an incredible 9 day vacation on Edisto Island, SC. Â We had an amazing time hanging out with family and friends and of course, our little boys. Â While we are definitely more sleep deprived than any other vacation we have ever had, we had a great time and cannot wait to go back soon.We are extremely lucky that Drew’s family has owned a beach house on Edisto for over 50 years. Â It is such a special place that we all treasure and enjoy reconnecting with family and friends. Â I started going to Edisto in college where our nights would be filled with going to Dockside and…
