Half decades are big birthdays to celebrate and we had a blast celebrating my son’s 5th birthday! Since we are living in a pandemic and couldn’t have a “real” birthday party, we did a couple outside the box things to make Reid’s birthday extra special. He had a blast and I think felt really loved (which is the whole point!). Ways to make your child’s birthday special: School Pick Up Decorated Car: Y’all this was so much fun! It was a great time all the way around and now we are slowly easing back into reality! The boys are at such exciting ages and for Reid, who is 4, Christmas magic is in full swing. It brought tears to my eyes seeing him see Santa from a distance while we were at the Polar…

I certainly did not!  We have been fortunate to have all sets of grandparents visit over the past 2 weeks.  The boys (and us) love spending time with family and it was such a special treat to have my mom stop by for a quick visit before heading to Maryland, my dad and Mimi watch the boys so Drew and I could go to Clemson and my in-laws to celebrate Halloween with us (all within 2 weeks of each other).Unfortunately, the stomach bug infected our family the Sunday before my mom came into town…

  • Thinking Out Loud: Fourth Of July Edition

Good morning and Happy Friday, I mean Thursday! Waking up today I thought that it was Friday and rolled the herby kirby to the front of the house thinking it was trash day–whoopsies! But it totally feels like a Friday…right?! Today I am linking up with running with spoons for thinking out loud.  This is my first thinking out loud link up–so bare or bear with me 🙂 Thoughts for the day: 1. Lists I am such a list person.  Whenever we go on trips, I make tons of lists: a grocery list, an ingredient list, a clothes list, a packing items list, a cooler list, etc…the lists literally go on…
