Weekend Recap: Visiting Friends in Sullivans Island, South Carolina
We just got back from a weekend away visiting friends and family. It has been so nice traveling again and I feel super comfortable as we are basically just quarantining in different locations. First Vacation after Coronavirus: Long Weekend in Destin and Crab Island
We just came back from an incredible long weekend with some of our closest friends. We originally planned to visit Drew’s best friend and his family, who welcomed a new baby girl in January, in March. However, with the coronavirus in full swing we decided to postpone until May. While I was super hesitant given that restrictions had just been loosened, I am very happy that we decided to go. Camping with a Toddler and Baby: Our Trip to Balsam, North Carolina
We just got back from our first camping trip as a family of 4. I was apprehensive about camping with a baby and a toddler, but boy I am so happy we did! Drew grew up camping with his family and Boy Scout troop and finds it important that we raise our boys loving the outdoors. Long (kid-free) Weekend at St. Regis Bal Harbour
Drew and I just got back from the most refreshing and revitalizing mini-vacation. We spent 3 days and 2 nights at the St. Regis Bar Harbour, courtesy of his company! It was such a wonderful vacation that really snuck up on us and allowed us to have some time to ourselves.We flew out first thing Friday morning and checked into the hotel around noon. Vacation Recap: Fourth of July at Edisto Island, South Carolina
We just got back from an incredible 9 day vacation on Edisto Island, SC. We had an amazing time hanging out with family and friends and of course, our little boys. While we are definitely more sleep deprived than any other vacation we have ever had, we had a great time and cannot wait to go back soon.We are extremely lucky that Drew’s family has owned a beach house on Edisto for over 50 years. Father’s Day Weekend Recap: Visiting Waynesville, North Carolina
We had a great long Father’s Day weekend exploring Waynesville with Drew’s family. We have a tradition of going to the mountains on Father’s Day weekend and again in the fall (usually one trip is tent camping). Since we have a three month old, we stayed in a nice cabin on the top of a mountain that overlooked the valley. South Eastern Wildlife Expo: Charleston Visit
We had a whirlwind 36 hour trip to Charleston this weekend. I got the clear from my doctor to travel and we took our final trip as a family of 3 (plus Scout) to Charleston to visit with friends. Drew and I lived in Charleston for the first 3 years after college while I attended law school and he worked in sales. We both have a special place in our hearts for Charleston and absolutely love visiting when we get a chance. Life Lately: Moving to Atlanta, Georgia
A new year, a new website and a new location! It has been a crazy start of 2017, but I am looking forward to all the exciting new things to come. After months of debate, Drew took a promotion and we relocated to the suburbs of Atlanta, Georgia at the beginning of the new year! It was a whirlwind of a couple months–buying and selling homes is not for the weak (I have taken a hiatus from watching HGTV because I seriously cannot look at anymore homes for a long while!). My life lately has been a busy one :). My sister and BIL welcomed my niece, Harper Ann, into the world on September 7th! I could not be more excited and happy for them.
